My Meal Plan

Meal plans come in many different shapes and sizes, conveniently tailored for the varying needs of individual students living both on and off campus. Enjoy easy access to all-you-care-to-eat facilities, specialty coffee houses and cafes, convenience stores, food trucks, and national franchises.

Dining.wm.edu is your go to spot for day-to-day information regarding W&M Dining. Looking for menus? Check. Need current hours of operation? Check. Trying to find the special events calendar? We've got that covered too!

How It Works
The summer meal plans include meal swipes and Dining Dollars that may be used in the Sadler Center all-you-care-to-eat dining hall, Boehly Cafe in Miller Hall (proudly brewing Starbucks), the Student XChange in Sadler Center, Dominos, and Chick-fil-A. The Summer 50 plan is limited to one session, the Summer 100 plan can roll from Session I to Session II, or can be used for either session.

Summer Meal Plan Dates
Summer 50: May 28 - June 28 OR June 29 - August 2
Summer 100: May 28 - August 2

Meal Plan Refunds and Charges

A $25 administrative charge will be applied for requests made after classes begin. Refunds and charges are based on a daily rate calculated on the meal plan price and the day that a request is received by dining@wm.edu.

Requirements

All Freshmen are required to select either the Freedom, Gold 19 or Block 175 meal plan. If a meal plan is not selected, the Gold 19 plan will be automatically applied to the student account. Students may make one change to the meal plan selection before the end of the add/drop period.  Used meal swipes and Dining Dollars will be deducted from the updated meal plan. Additional changes will be assessed a $25 processing fee. For the 2019-2020 academic year, the add/drop period ends on Friday, September 6 for the fall semester and Friday, January 31 for the spring semester.

Changes beyond what is allowed by social class are rare and must be approved by the Meal Plan Petition Committee after the submission of a completed Meal Plan Petition.  Petitions approved after add/drop will result in financial adjustments based on a daily meal rate from when the petition was approved.
